Emperor Gareuk of Gojoseon is accounted in historical record Hwandan Gogi to be the third Emperor of Gojoseon of Korea.

It has been accounted in Hwandan-Gogi that Gareuk ordered the compilation of Baedal Yugi, which is believed by some to be the oldest historical record in Korea, and it is believed to be the forerunner of Yugi historical record of 100 volume by Goguryeo, as recorded in Samguk Sagi.
