Gareth Mitchell

Gareth Mitchell (born 1978 in Belfast, Northern Ireland) in is an eco-entrepreneur and marketer & founder of Tree2mydoor Ltd, the United Kingdom based sustainable gift company. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. He is a graduate and an Ambassador for the New Entrepreneur Scholarship Programme.

Mitchell grew up in the town of Larne, in County Antrim, where he took a great interest in the environment and cultural heritage from a young age. He graduated from the University of Teesside in 2000, the year that the Tree2mydoor concept was born. Mitchell formed Tree2mydoor Limited in September 2003, and has successfully grown the company into an award winning ethical company and consumer brand. [1]
Mitchell was officially recognized as being one of Britain's top new talents in November 2007 after being voted into the Top 10 of the Public Life category of the Courvoisier The Future 500 list, a list that showcases the top 500 new talents in Britain over 10 different categories. [2]
