Gare d'Aix-en-Provence TGV

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Aix-en-Provence TGV station is a new passenger station, built on the LGV Méditerranée. It is located 15 km southwest of the city of Aix-en-Provence and 20 km north of Marseille and serves northern metropolitan Marseille with traffic larger than expected. It is geographically closer to the town of Vitrolles than it is to Aix-en-Provence.

The station was opened in 2001.

See Avignon TGV for more information on services, although Aix is not served by the seasonal foreign services.
