Gardiners Creek
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gardiners Creek is a waterway in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne part of the Yarra River catchment.
Over 30km in length, the creek flows from Blackburn in the east to the Yarra River opposite Richmond. It is named after John Gardiner, an early Melbourne land speculator and banker who settled on its banks in 1838.
It is used recreationally for the Gardiners Creek Trail.
