Gardeja (former German name Garnsee) is a village in northern Poland located in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Kwidzyn County. The village is a seat of Gardeja Commune (Polish: Gmina Gardeja). It had a population of 2500 in 2006. Formerly a town, Gardeja gained city rights in 1334 and loose them after World war II in 1945. Gardeja is divided into four sołectwos: Gardeja I, II, III and IV (that means: the village have four representatives).
