Gao Xiang an officer of the Kingdom of Shu during the Three Kingdoms Period of China. Little is known of his actual life, but he is a character in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which has been used as the source for many films, plays and other works. The use as a basis for computer games has created renewed interest in its characters.

Gao Xiang is listed in Chapter 91 as being a Center Army Right General, and he fills a minor role in the following chapters, being stationed near Liliu, he joins with Wei Yan and Wang Ping to retake Jieting. However they fail and Ma Su is executed by Zhuge Liang for the defeat.
Later Gao Xing is involved following the Northern Campaign of Zhuge Liang. In chapter 102 he leads 500 men disguised as soldiers of Shu. Their purpose is to capture the life like wooden animals that are part of the Shu convoy.
