[edit] Antisemitism
You added the following to the Antisemitism article:
- Political Anti-Semitism is related to Racial anti-semitism. This form accuses Jews as being the founders and supporters of capitalism, communism, and liberalism. The concept was used to attract peasents (who saw Jews as equivalent to Bolsheviks and liberals), and some of the urban working-class, who viewed all Jews as dirty merchants and industrialists
Could you please specify the source(s) from whence this assertion came? We need to make sure that the assertions are verifiable. Dick Clark 20:40, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
John Luckas, Democracy and Populism, P. 64-65 explains the anti-liberalism. The Communist phobias are from FL Carsten, The Rise of Fascism,'s section on Hungary (I'll look for the page numbers). But I think overall, this assertions are clear in most studies of fascism and ant-semitism. GANDALF1992 20:50, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- FYI, I have removed this sentence from the intro. It is a pretext, not a reason for persecution. What's next, economic, cultural? AFAIK, Jews are not a political entity/party. If this "third" kind of AS is sourced and verified, it may deserve being mentioned somewhere in the article. If you strongly feel like continuing this discussion, let's do it at Talk:Anti-Semitism. Thanks. ←Humus sapiens ну? 05:04, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template on your userpage
I noticed there's a mistake on the {{User Pittsburgh}} template on your userpage, you put [[ instead of {{ in the beginnging of the template so it's not coming out. Thanks. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 23:22, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kent-Meridian High School
Per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kent-Meridian High School, I just thought you'd like to know that the consensus for deleting High School articles now appears to be swinging back in favor of deletion. So this may indicate the beginning of another campaign to remove most High School articles. Your opinion on the AfD article would be appreciated. It might be helpful if a notability standard for High Schools could be agreed upon. Thank you. — RJH (talk) 16:34, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of A+ Schools
A tag has been placed on A+ Schools, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RJASE1 Talk 22:07, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
