[edit] Busiest station

I'm afraid this fact is not supported by the figures which is why I removed it. Here are the exit/entry figures p/a for some stations outside central London:

Dagenham Heathway 3.225 million
Gants Hill 3.556 million
Upton Park 6.41 million
East Ham tube station 9.098 million
Barking station 9.963 million

Its better to let facts speak rather than make broad unsupported statements. MRSC 05:19, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said that it was the busiest station. I said, and still say, that it is one of the busiest stations. Would MRSC care to put up the complete list, including say Fairlop and Moor Park, so that readers can get a balanced picture?

It's best to avoid peacock terms and weasel terms in articles and just let facts speak for themselves. It also ensures NPOV when writing good articles.
Given that stations outside central London vary from the very low (<1M p/a) to the very high (>9M p/a) I would have to say that Gants Hill is pretty much average just like Dagenham Heathway. I don't think there is any need to put this in the article, just presenting the figures is enough.
I'm sorry you feel I was putting words in your mouth but I had no such intention. MRSC 13:01, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
