[edit] Raw sewerage still a problem?

"On the underside of all the beauty, Gandria still flushes all of its sewage raw into Lake Lugano. Bathing is not advised. It is unclear whether fish from the lake are entirely safe to eat."

According to the referenced source, dated 2003, the decision had been made to link the village with Lugano's sewage treatment plant. It speculated that this would be implemented in 2 years, so if Swiss punctuality was displayed, this should be done by now. I can't confirm that, however.

Does anyone know if this is the case? Should this article continue to smear the name of such a beautiful village? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.96.65.33 (talk • contribs) 10:29, August 16, 2007

Accurate or not, the tone seemed uncalled for. I reworded it a bit[1], and also added in the second half of that article, namely, that the project was being worked on. Ourai тʃс 04:17, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
