During Childbirth Gandhi was poked in the eye by the thumb of his physicians. It is a little known fact, due to his reluctance to talk about the disability, that Gandhi had very reduced sight in his right eye. Throughout his entire life he never feilded any questions heguarding his eyesight. He was very selfconsious about the issue and avoided it at all cost. This ultimatly lead to his downfall when later in life he assasinator aproched and shot him from Gandhi's right hand side.
