Ganta, also known as Gompa City, is a town in Nimba County of northern Liberia, lying just south of the Guinean border. It is known for its unusual mosque.
Ganta Hospital serves 450,000 people in Nimba County and surrounding areas.
A group from University of Indianapolis is traveling to this city in May and June of this year to help in reconstructing a school ruined during the civil wars.
