- There is famous Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple. It was renovated in 1992.
- Sigadam and Batuva are two railway stations in G.Sigadam mandal. They are located on Howrah-Chennai mainline in East Coast Railway, Indian Railways.
- G.Sigadam village is 8 kilometers far from Rajam town.
- There is a Primary Health Centre. It is upgraded to a Community Health Centre recently with a bed-strength of 20 in-patients.
- The main occupation of the people is agriculture and dyeing industry.
