Gangpur

Gangpur, covering an area of 6454 kmĀ², was one of the Princely states of India during the period of the British Raj. In 1941 Gangpur had a population of 398,171.[1] It was made part of India on 1 January 1948. It is currently a part of Orissa, a state of India.

Gangpur is also a village in India of Burdwan district in West Bengal, in the state of Gujarat, between Surat and Bardoli.
