Gang Gang Dance are an experimental music group based in Brooklyn, New York City, and signed to the independent label the Social Registry. The group has become well known within the New York indie-rock scene for its distinctive sound that has been variously referred to as "neo-primitivist" or "neo-tribal."
They have played shows with such bands as Architecture in Helsinki, Sonic Youth, Spank Rock, Massive Attack, Animal Collective, Black Dice and TV on the Radio.
