Gandhinagar, also Gandhi Nagar, is a town in Vellore District in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

As of 2001 India census[1], Gandhinagar had a population of 9708. Males constitute 48% of the population and females 52%. Gandhinagar has an average literacy rate of 90%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 91%, and female literacy is 90%. In Gandhinagar, 7% of the population is under 6 years of age.
