[edit] Removal of links
I'm sure what you are doing with the removal of wikilinks is well-intentioned, but it's basically the wrong way to go. It is appropriate—encouraged, even—to put wikilinks in article to a topic that merits an article in the future. This is one of the main ways to request further articles. We actually track the number of links there may be to a particular unwritten article as one of the ways to spot important topics that lack articles. -- Jmabel | Talk 04:06, May 20, 2005 (UTC)
