[edit] Creating an article

May I recommend that you create an article in your own userspace and bring it up to speed there first, then transfer it to an article in the mainspace when it's ready? Just create User:GambinoManny/NewArticleName and put the content in there.  Frank  |  talk  15:58, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Is this notable?

Thanks. I have attempted a rewrite with more specific sources such as IMDB and whatnot could someone take a looksy and let me know if this meets notability guidelines?

Career

Lorelei began acting at age 14 at the Penn State University Acting Farm, in State College, Pennsylvania [2]. Her first play was ‘Shaken and Her Love’ in 1997. In 1998 she received a role as Santana Leon in the Community Theater’s production of “who’s Your Daddy’. Despite a very promising future, her knack for improv. annoyed the directors and eventually she moved on to comedy. In 2000, Lorelei created characters such as Maria, the maid, Svetlana the mail order bride and Sarema [3]. Her comedy career steadily progressed with shows at universities, clubs and conventions from New Hampshire to Georgia. In 2003, she took a hiatus from entertainment and joined the United States Army[4], where she became more political and completed her first book ‘Bewitched’.

After becoming the change of pace, Lorelei was on the receiving end of a lot of hate mail for her open support of George W. Bush, and the war. Her career stalled for a period, in which she answered her critics in the form of a documentary ‘Get Some’[5], and began setting the stage for ‘The Sweetheart Act’ to impose harsher punishments for dog fighting and crusading for Pit Bulls and the rights of their owners. Her petition was ultimately reflected in the creation of GA ST § 16-12-37 She also fought hard to ensure American soldiers and their family members had a voice, often spending days baking and providing care packages to units all over Iraq, Korea and Afghanistan. In 2006, she starred in the documentary themed answer to her critics, “Get Some” [6]and followed up with the release of her second book Triumphant Failure (Novel)|. 2007 launched her comeback following motherhood and uniformed service, with the reality series ‘No Biz to Show Biz’, [7]the roles of Darling in ‘Escape The Fate ’ (film), Sadie Marx in ‘Through With You’ (film) [8], Kylie in My Dearest You (film) [9], Leno Cord in ‘Leno’s Last Kiss’ (stage) [10], >, Ursela in Redeemer (film) [11], Jane Doe in ‘Battered[12]’, the stalker in ‘You Kill Me Well’, Vladia, the Russian female vampire in ‘Forsaken’, Courtney Love in the controversial ‘Heart Shaped Box’ (post production), and Kelsie Lemeaux in the boxing comedy ‘Hit Me’ [13]

Her momentum in 2008 continued to grow with the release of Hollywood Hoax (novel), Blood Red (film) where she portrayed the controversial Darcy Donolly, ‘A Soldier’s Wife’ (role of Amber Keller), ‘Getting Hitched’ as the role of feisty Christina In 2008, Lorelei gained notoriety for her role on the reality show ‘No Biz To Show Biz’ [14] and continues to build a solid fan base.

[edit] Notability of article

Right now, I'd say no. WP:BIO requires quite a few more reliable sources. Check the guideline for more information. Otherwise it looks ok, you just need citations. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 04:34, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

I'd also say no, based on what you've provided. The sources being the problem, you may want to cut and paste the above information to a test page called a sandbox. Yours would be at User:GambinoManny/Sandbox. This would help to separate your general discussion from your article itself. With your references make sure that they link by typing <ref>[www.loreleimahoney.net www.loreleimahoney.net]</ref> with the brackets on both sides for the link to work, so it is much easier for people to follow. You may want to use magnus' citation tool to help you make references. -Optigan13 (talk) 04:43, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
