There are other Gamma Delta Chi's Belmont Abbey college had a chapter from 1998 until 2001 when it was taken into Delta Tau Delta. Though not an offical brother fraternity with this one, it shared some simular practices. The Belmont Abbey Chapter did ask permission and had it granted before tak ing the name offically.
