[edit] Summary

Typical traditional Javanese/Balinese (Indonesia) gamelan musical scale, of which there are several (see wikipedia-gamelan-tuning), notated here in guitar tablature form. Have not yet found the gamelan scale in guitar tablature form on the www. Being born in SE Asia (Malaysia) and a guitar hobbyist enabled my transposition of the scale to the guitar from aural memory of the scale and hence into guitar tablature. Verification of the written scale shown in the image was done in comparison with the sound file at http://www.sfu.ca/sonic-studio/handbook/Sound/Scale_Gamelan.aiff
