[edit] Separation into Groups
The afore mentioned clubs will be divided into two groups depending on their geographical origin. All the clubs that come from the southern part of the country (including Attica, Peloponnesus, Crete, the Aegean Islands and half Sterea Ellada) will enter Group 1 (South), while clubs from Central and Northern Greece (icluding Macedonia, Thrace, Epirus, Thessaly and part of Sterea Ellada) will take part in Group 2 (North). The official separation of Gamma Ethniki clubs between the two groups will be decided later in June, after the end of current Beta Ethniki and Gamma Ethniki championships.
