Gamma Ethniki 2006-07

2006-07 was the season of Gamma Ethniki (Third National Football Division of Greece). Agios Dimitrios and Pierikos were crowned champions in Group 1 and 2, respectively, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. ASK Olympiakos Volos won the third promotion ticket after defeating AS Rodos 2-1 in a single play-off match at Municipal Ground of Peristeri between the two groups' second-placed teams.

Paniliakos, OF Ierapetra, Pamvouprassiakos AO Varda, Zakynthos, Androutsos Gravia, Nafpaktiakos Asteras and Doxa Gratini were finally relegated to Delta Ethniki Regional Championship.

Last season champions were PAE Asteras Tripolis in Group 1 (South) and Agrotikos Asteras in Group 2 (North) which were promoted to Beta Ethniki together with Group 1 second-placed Ethnikos Piraeus and third-placed Messiniakos and Group 2 second-placed PAS Giannina and third-placed Panthrakikos.

Messiniakos and Niki Volos were relegated from Beta Ethniki after the end of the previous season and entered Group 1 (South) and Group 2 (North), respectively. Proodeftiki were also relegated from Beta Ethniki last season and were supposed to enter Group 1, but they finally took part in Delta Ethniki Regional Championship after being declared bankrupt. The empty position was not covered by any other club thus resulting in an unequal separation of clubs between the two groups of Gamma Ethniki (18 in Group 1 and 17 in Group 2).
