Gamleys is a chain of toy shops throughout the United Kingdom. Unlike its rival Toys R Us, Gamleys operates smaller shops in high streets and shopping centres rather than larger super stores. Because of this different approach to business it has managed to survive, unlike the former Childrens World. It is criticized as a spinoff of Hamleys^{[citation needed]}.
