The Gaming Hall of Fame (GHF) is an organization much like the Hall of Fame for sports players but for software that has received many awards, achievements, and positive critical acclaim. An entire series of games can be put into the GHF also such as the Halo series noted for revolutionizing the First-Person Shooter concept. Only fifteen games have been entered into the GHF, a provided list is in this article. Established in 1967 just three years before the first Mario game came onto retail shelves . The games in the Hall of Fame have been chosen and named as the best games of all time (some games such as Halo 1-3 have been beneficial to their whole gaming genre
