Gaming Nexus is a multiplatform videogame website that operates out of Columbis, Ohio. Its coverage is focused on reviews and news, although the website does offer previews and other articles. The website began its fifth year of operations as a wholly-separate entity in September 2006.

Gaming Nexus was originally founded in 1997 by William Abner with the mission to provide web readers with high quality game reviews and news. Gaming Nexus merged with a few sites throughout the years, most notably Gamepen.com. In September of 2002, Gaming Nexus split from Gamepen.Com back to its own entity and has been operating as such ever since. The website is currently owned and operated by John Yan, who designed and developed the website.

Gaming Nexus covers all new and last generation consoles, current portables, and PC. The website currently has pages for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, PSP, Nintendo DS, GBA, and PC. The staff includes Editor-in-Chief, Charles Husemann, who has a weekly segment on Columbus, Ohio station CD101 during Tuesday mornings at 8:45AM EST.

With nearly 800 reviews in its archive, the website currently has the 70th largest review archive on Game Rankings, including all websites and print publications [1]. Gaming Nexus' Editor's Choice award is seen in the industry as a true seal of quality. Publishers and manufactorers display the award if given to one of their products [4] [5].
