Gamelab

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gamelab is a video game developer and publisher based in New York City. Gamelab primarily builds downloadable casual games, with Diner Dash being their biggest commercial success to date.[citation needed] In addition, they have designed conference-wide games for the Game Developers Conference and have collaborated with LEGO on a number of online games such as LEGO Junkbot.

Gamelab also operates the multiplayer web game SiSSYFiGHT 2000. Several of the Gamelab staff were involved in the design and development of Sissyfight prior to Gamelab's formation in 2000, including Eric Zimmerman, Ranjit Bhatnagar and Naomi Clark.[1]

Recently, Gamelab expanded its business model to self-publish games that it develops. The first game released using this model, Miss Management, was released in July of 2007. Jojo's Fashion Show, co-published with iWin, was released in December of 2007.
