Gamay Morgan Trout is a fictional character in the NUMA Files series of books co-written by authors Clive Cussler and Paul Kemprecos. She is married to Paul Trout, and is a member of the NUMA special assignments team. Gamay's unusual name was given to her by her father in respect of the grape of the Beaujolais wine, due to her dark red hair. She is adventurous and an accredited markswoman. During the course of the teams adventures she has survived the murderous attentions of Mayan Artifact smugglers, Kidnappers and Eskimo hitmen amongst others.
