Gamalero (Gamaleri in Piedmontese) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km southeast of Turin and about 13 km southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 787 and an area of 12.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Gamalero contains the frazione (subdivision) San Rocco.
Gamalero borders the following municipalities: Carentino, Cassine, Castellazzo Bormida, Castelspina, Frascaro, Mombaruzzo, and Sezzadio.
