GAMA Turkish Construction Company

GAMA is a Turkish company involved in the construction industry with many government awarded contracts in Ireland and elsewhere.

Workers in its Irish branch claimed they were being unfairly paid, but as they were hired in Turkey, and only on contract in Ireland afterwards returning to Turkey, the company claimed they had done no wrong.
The workers were aided by trade unions such as SIPTU and noteworthy in his support was Joe Higgins of the Irish Socialist Party.
