[edit] Korean Wikipedia page screenshot

Do you use Mozilla Firefox? Load up http://ko.wikipedia.org on that browser, and you should see a little bit of a cartoon drawing sticking out from behind the Wikipedia logo. On my screenshot, the only modification was those red highlights, to immediately give away where the apparent April Fools drawing is located.

Yes, and I discoverd that kind of logo under Firefox never seen. Please Don't make of April's fool joke! - Ellif 09:13, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
I didn't make the April Fools joke on that site, some administrator did. If it's just me, I sure as heck don't know why it appears for me and no one else. I can't even edit the main page, nor the Wikipedia logo, and I certainly wouldn't go through all that trouble to draw a cartoon character behind it. --Shultz IV 09:33, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Korean web culture

It's not a stub because it's much longer than one. See Wikipedia: Stub for more details. Xhin 01:27, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Korean pronunciation and "law"

Hi,

I'm not sure quite what you meant in your recent addition to the Korean page. Is there really a law that governs pronunciation in South Korea? I've never heard of this. Also, do you have an idea how many South Koreans use the "nultta" pronunciation? Please respond within this talk page; I will monitor it. --Rschmertz 18:24, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Please reference on Standard pronunciation law. It existsㅎ; also, in korean wikipedia, It has citation for standard pronunciation of korean words(ex. ko:아햏햏). I wish It was good answer for that question. - Ellif 06:58, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Korean WP and fair use

I understand you are having issues about fair use on the Korean Wikipedia. While I do not speak Korean, I have worked with some of your fellow users before about fair use on the Korean Wikipedia and I want to help again. I am in #wikipedia under the name Zscout370, so message me whenever you feel like it. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 04:32, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanx for Your regards. but I think It should pass on many days to make opinions. - Ellif 02:08, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Hobn.png

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Hobn.png has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Android Mouse Bot 2 16:05, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Korea@Home

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Korea@Home, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Korea@Home. alex.muller (talkedits) 19:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
