[edit] Translations

Would it be possible to have translations of the foreign scripts? -Branddobbe 17:17, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

I think it would be valuable to describe the inscription on each one, since many are not readable, even in the full-sized image. It would also provide convenient text to link to relevant articles, and give Google something to chew on. Michael Z. 2007-07-16 16:58 Z

[edit] Inscribed flags

Flags bearing coats-of-arms which happen to include a tiny scroll or some text aren't really "inscribed flags". The inscription is only incidentally a part of the flag's design, and it is typically not readable from a normal viewing distance of a masted flag.

This gallery would be more unified and have a stronger identity if such flags with coats-of-arms were removed. Michael Z. 2007-07-16 16:53 Z
