The union is run on a day to day basis by two full time elected sabbatical officers; a President and a Deputy President. A third sabbatical officer, the Vice President/Site President is responsible for implementing union policy on the Castlebar Campus of the Institute. The union also employs a number of full time staff including an Administrator, an office manager and several other staff who run the various services it operates on campus. These services include a stationery shop, a fitness suite and photocopying and binding services administered through the main union office.
