The Galloway Community Hospital is a NHS hospital in the town of Stranraer. Opened on a partial basis in September 2006 [1], being fully opened by October 2007.

The hospital replaced the Garrick and Dalrymple hospitals in Stranraer, and is on the site of part of the Dalrymple hospital, adjacent to the Waverly Medical Centre which is the main GP surgery for Stranraer. The hospital primarily serves the communities of Stranraer and the Rhins of Galloway, but also serves the rest of West Galloway.
