The Galleria at Crystal Run is a shopping mall in Middletown, New York and is the second largest mall in New York's Hudson Valley region. The mall, which opened in April of 1992, has an area of 1,100,000 square feet (99,000 m²) with two floors and 250 shops and restaurants as well as an 16-screen Loews theater.
The mall is owned and managed by The Pyramid Companies, a group who also owns and manages regional sisters Poughkeepsie Galleria in Poughkeepsie (the model for Crystal Run), Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, and Palisades Center in West Nyack. The mall has a lack of verticle transportation, therefore, it has very long lines at the escalators and at the elevators due to the fact that the mall only has 2 elevators, one of which is glass, and the other is by *MACY*S, and only 4 escalators!
