Galleria Edina

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Galleria is an upscale shopping center located in Edina, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. Directly across the street is Southdale Center, a large regional shopping mall.

While not a particularly large mall in terms of size (it has no anchor department stores), it is widely considered to be the Twin Cities' most exclusive shopping center.

The Galleria features about 60 stores and restaurants, including the flagship stores of Kuhlman and Len Druskin. Other national names featured are Tiffany & Co, Coach, Cole Haan, Tumi, Oilily, Papyrus, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Smith & Hawken, Williams-Sonoma, Bang & Olufsen and Barnes & Noble. Local companies Creative Kidstuff and Schmitt Music also have stores in the mall. There are upscale local boutiques like Pumpz & Company featuring designer handbags and shoes such as Miu Miu, Prada, and Scheherazade Jewelers featuring watches from Piaget, Baume & Mercier, Maurice Lacroix and designer jewelery. Gabberts Furniture could be considered the mall's only actual anchor. A 37000-square-foot new Crate & Barrel is slated to open, as long as boutiques of BCBG MAX AZRIA, etc.

Restaurants include Big Bowl, The Good Earth, and Kozy's.
