Galleon (band)

Galleon is French electro-pop duo from Marseilles, founded by Gilles Fahy (who also sings) and Phillippe Laurent.

They emerged on the European dance scene in January 2002. with a hit single "So I Begin" sung in English. The single was released by Sony Music/Radikal Records and sold 400,000 copies. Also noteworthy is the accompanying music video featuring top model Jitka Ogurekova. After the initial success another single ensued ("One Sign", November 2002), followed by a full-length album, also called So I Begin in 2003.
