Galileu is a scientific Brazilian magazine. It began to be distributed in 1991 by Editora Globo. Galileu was first called "Globo Ciência" (in English "Globo Science"). The current magazine is named after Galileo Galilei, or Galileu Galilei, in Portuguese.It is a concorrent from Superinteressante.
In 1998, Globo Ciência published its 86th edition and changed its name to Galileu. Galieu has a circulation circa 150.000. Its first number was about robots.
