Gale E. Klappa

Gale E. Klappa is the current Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wisconsin Energy Corporation and We Energies. Before joining to Wisconsin Energy, Mr. Klappa was the executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Southern Company in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Klappa is also the chairman of the finance committee and vice chairman of the board of directors of Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited, and the director of the Edison Electric Institute and the American Gas Association.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1972, with a bachelor degree in Mass Communications.

He also has donated 1,000 dollars to Mother of Good Counsel Parish/ School. He has made a difference in the lives of each and everyone of those students. Thanks to him the students at that school can have a Smart board for their Language classroom.
