It is a Browser game with emphasis on trade and space combat. The game is currently in beta testing phase,and still in development. Main goal of the game is to gain wealth and develop a ship that will destroy every other ship in the game. When you are in possession of most powerful ship you can safely travel to any planet you desire, without a risk that you can be robbed. This is Multiplayer game so you need to top every other players too, not only the pirates (the non-playing-warships).
Beside trading, player can buy ship modules and upgrade ship.
The construction of ship is quite flexible. Ship is constructed from modules and as you add structural modules you gain place to add any other type of module like weapon system,shields, armor plates, additional engines,etc. What is more player can follow and complete a number of quest. There are generally two types of quests:
Courier – when player have to transport some amount of goods in a given time.
Bounty hunter type – when player have to kill some pirate.

Development
The game is still in development and player may from time to time experience bugs.
On the other hand the developer of Galaxy Trader Michał Klimas is working constantly to get rid of them, as well as add new content to the game.
There are game features that has been added only on user request, eg “bounty quests” (The quests to get rid pirates).

Strong points
A number of different strategies can be utilized to gain wealth.
Flexible ship construction.
Interesting quest system.
Constant game support, and development.
Competitive environment when you can rob other players of goods and money.

Weak points
Limited bandwidth of server connection.
Low number of players, that result in low competition.
Minor bugs.
Spelling mistakes.
Moderate quality graphic.
