Galaxy is a web application developed at Pennsylvania State University, designed for analysis of genomics data. The Galaxy web application is designed to help two communities that rarely talk to each other, experimental biologists who have little time or knowledge to invest in developing algorithms and computer programs, and computational biologists who develop algorithms, but do not provide interfaces. Galaxy is written mostly in Python.
