Galatea, the magazine for doll lovers, is a doll magazine created in 1985 by the editor Jay Harrison. Since then it has published 85 issues and changed hands in 1995 to only the second owner/editor of the magazine, Isobel Ridley. Isobel Ridley the current editor also set up the Lytham Dolls House & Miniatures Club, which is still running today.
Galatea over the years has consisted of many articles from readers, as well as articles reflecting the passions of the editor such as Sindy.
