Galahad and the Holy Grail
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Galahad and the Holy Grail was a best-selling computer game for the Atari 800 series in 1982. It was programmed by Douglas Crockford and published by the Atari Program Exchange.
The game design was heavily influenced by Adventure for the Atari 2600, and contained references to that as well as many other popular games of the day.
The subject matter was no doubt inspired by the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail -- one of the objects found in the game is a "holy hand grenade."
