From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gaius or Caius Caecilius Metellus (b. c. 135 BC) was a son of Gaius Caecilius Metellus Caprarius. Consul in 102 BC, he interpellated Sulla about when would he put an end to his proscriptions, not to save the one you have marked, but to tranquilize the ones you decided to save.
