[edit] History

Gain Greene Records was founded in 2007 by Mike Bruno, a Harlem businessman, and Harlem rapper Max B. The label was founded after Max B departed from Jim Jones's Byrdgang Records. Max B would sign his Gain Greene group away from Byrdgang and the label quickly established a distribution deal with Atlantic Records through Asylum Records. He would then sign Gain Greene solo members Los, Face, Young Dour, and Harlem Gotti. The first project from the Gain Green crew will be Max B's Reaping the Benefits. This is to be followed by Gain Greene's debut album. Gain Greene signed their youngest group called BTC on April 23th, 2008.
