Gain Glacier (glacier on the east coast of Palmer Land, flowing northeast from Cat Ridge and entering the Weddell Sea between Imshaug Peninsula and Morency Island. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) in 1974. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Louis Gain, naturalist on the French Antarctic Expedition, 1908-10, author of several of the expedition reports on zoology and botany.
