Gahroo is a town in the Bakhtiari province of Iran with a population of around 7000. It is located approximately 40 km from Shahrekord. The town is one the bigger grape producing areas in Iran. The kohrang fruit juice(abangour) factory is situated in Gahroo. A woman is or was (Mrs pouran bahrami) the head of Anjimaneh shahr(council)of Gahroo.
