My name is Ahmad Al-Gaafary. I'm an Egyptian resident in Cairo. I was born in 1977 in the small, quiet city of Hurghada, located on the eastern coast of the Red Sea, now known as one of Egypt’s “biggest” tourist attractions.

I work in the writing profession as a Technical Writing Consultant in the realm of information technology. I have been in the wiring business since 2002. I'm interested in Copywriting as well and I have professionally practiced it at different places throughout my career.

I have a BA degree in literature and translation. I graduated in the faculty of Al-Alsun - Ain Shams University - English Department in 1999.

One of my contributions on Wikipedia is editing the Hurghada page.

I established Technical Writers in Egypt which is a community for Egyptians who work in the technical wiring\copywriting profession.
