The purple stamp on the bottom reads Library Of Congress copyright August 13, 1887. The left photograph above the bottom-left corner shows "Black Creek Falls," now known as Noccalula Falls. The area shown is now known as Downtown Gadsden. Drawn by H. Wellge. Beck & Pauli Lith. Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
