From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gaby Rodgers (née Gabrielle Rosenberg, born 29 March 1928, Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany) is an actress, theater director, and journalist. She is most remembered for her role as Lily Carver in Kiss Me Deadly, and in particular the iconic scene where she opens the mysterious box.

She is German by origin, and grew up in Holland. She is divorced from the songwriter Jerry Leiber. Rodgers is frequently cited as co-author of the song "Jackson" with Billy Edd Wheeler, but this is not true. Leiber wrote the song with Wheeler, using his then-wife's name as a pseudonym.
