Gabriele Albertini

Gabriele Albertini (born on 6 July 1950 in Milano) is an Italian politician, former mayor of Milano and Member of the European Parliament for North-West with the Forza Italia, part of the European People's Party and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Transport and Tourism.

He is a substitute for the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, a vice-chair of the Delegation for relations with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and a substitute for the Delegation for relations with the United States.

  • 2002-2003: Government delegate to the Municipality of Milan (since 2000) dealing with waste water depuration problems in the city of Milan
  • 2001-2006: delegated by the Government to deal with the traffic and mobility emergency in the city of Milan (delegated through Ministerial Ordenance 28 December 2001 No. 3171; emergency declared through Decree 15 November 2001)
