Gabriel Mercado is an Argentine football right back. He was born on March 18, 1987, in the city of Puerto Madryn in the Chubut Province of Argentina. He currently plays for Racing Club de Avellaneda of the Primera División Argentina.
Mercado made his breakthrough into the Racing Club 1st team in 2007, he has represented the Argentina Under-20 team at the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay and at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.
